Medical illustrations for operative instructions of Surgical Technique Guides

Preparation of vector based graphics for product booklets for different medical implants. This project was created in cooperation with the AO Research Institute Davos and RISystem AG.

Surgical approaches are visualized for various implant systems (e.g. nail, plate or screw) in rodents. These implants are used in basic research in the field of bone healing. The illustrations give a visual support to help the user carrying out the respective operations independently.

Vector Illustration | 2011

By using vector graphics, the initial steps of soft tissue preparation are demonstrated and explained. Subsequently, the application of the respective implant and finally the wound closure are shown.
